So I just finished a really big commission last week: an 8-metre painting on the glass wall of the Eric Liddel Centre’s dementia space in Edinburgh. It was great fun: this might or might not be the largest thing I’ve ever made. It’s certainly in the top five.
The brief was for a cityscape, and since it’s a really huge thing, in a room that people spend a lot of their day in, I wanted it to be something that you could spend plenty of time looking at and not get bored. There’s a lot of stuff in this picture, at least some of which is captured in these photos. You can always go see it in person, as well.
